Our Mission

The Duke Entrepreneur seeks to provide an undergraduate voice to the entrepreneurial community at Duke University. We aim to facilitate the exchange of business ideas and connections between students, faculty, alumni and the greater Duke Community.  We will serve as student advisors to the administration as they enhance Duke's academic offerings related to entrepreneurship.  And we will be instrumental in creating opportunities for undergraduates to network with Duke alumni entrepreneurs, local entrepreneurs, and industry in general, especially in the Research Triangle Park area.

Most importantly, we will work to develop an entrepreneurial culture at Duke, where students can realize their dreams with the help of the administration, our organization, and other resources at Duke's disposal.  The first steps to accomplishing this is serving as a hub for already existing student run businesses.

Our Vision

To foster an entrepreneurial can-do spirit at Duke University amongst undergraduates and empower them with the know-how, networking, passion, and ultimately- financing, for their business aspirations.  The environment at Duke for students with entrepreneurial aspirations must be "The University will help you to succeed" but perhaps more importantly, "It's OK to fail."
