Over
the years the Center for European Studies has supported Duke faculty
in developing specific courses on a diverse range of European
topics. Duke does not offer an undergraduate major or a graduate
program in European Studies as such. However, students at Duke
who have an interest in Europe can easily construct a concentration
in Western Europe by tailoring their majors or their graduate
work in Romance
Studies (where European Studies tracks exist in French, Italian,
and Spanish), in Germanic
Studies, in Comparative Area Studies (see links below), Art
History, History
or
Political Science.
Below
follow some helpful links that can guide you through the different
Duke European Studies tracks.
