Jane Pleasants is the Assistant Vice President for Procurement and Supply Chain Management for Duke University and Duke University Health System. Ms. Pleasants has oversight for all supply chain activities including management and negotiation of Duke’s portfolio of contracts for goods and services, logistics and materials distribution, reduction of non-labor spend, and operational oversight of the procurement and materials management information system that supports the supply chain. Ms. Pleasants has spent most of her career in higher education, academic medical centers, and teaching hospitals. She joined Duke University after serving in similar roles at University of Rochester and Vanderbilt University.
Ms. Pleasants has an undergraduate degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan and a Masters of Science from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
