Please note: these Fraser Fir trees are not organic and not grown on our farm.

The popular Christmas tree species Fraser fir cannot be grown in the Piedmont because this area is too warm. The tree species we will be growing on our farm will be Leyland Cypress, two varieties of Arizona Cypress, and Eastern red cedar.

Proceeds go to the Duke University chapter of the Society of American Foresters. The funds are used to fund projects such as the Duke Forest Christmas Tree Farm, events like last year’s Forestry Symposium, “Forestry in a Globalized and Changing World”, and student attendance at professional conferences.
