GANO: Gente Aprendiendo para Nuevas Oportunidades (people learning in order to have new opportunities) is a student-run organization at Duke University.
We provide one-on-one ESL tutoring for Spanish-speaking immigrants of all ages to help with the tranisition of living in the United States. GANO also provides childcare services for tutees during the GANO tutoring hours Tuesday and Thursday nights.

For those students that are looking for freeware language programs on the internet while trying to brush up on their Spanish, make sure you do a search for descargas programas gratis on your favorite search engine. Using the internet can be a great resource to find new programs while also working on a new language.

Duke students that are interested in engineering know that the best place to look for an absolute encoder / rotary encoder is on the web with the recognized leader in motion feedback control.
