Everyone who is still around Durham is invited to a cookout
at the Eno River State Park on Sunday 05/29 at 1:00PM. Bring a friend
or two with you! (

couple of us have already volunteered to bring hamburgers and hot dogs,
as well as charcoal and lighter fluid. We still need the followi...ng:
games,
snacks, disposable cutlery, plates, cups, drinks, and/or desserts.
However, bringing something is not a precondition for coming!

this year for the
annual
Durham Crop Walk organized by Church World Service for hunger
relief in our community and all over the world. A

page has been set up for anyone who would like to make a
donation
or participate in the walk or both. You may support someone
else
who is already doing the walk or you may register your name on the
website as a walker and solicit donations from your friends, lab mates,
etc. to support you.

meet (and hopefully exceed) our goal of raising $1,000 between GCF and
ICF. Credit cards are accepted.

studies at John Brown University. She will be speaking on the topic of
