Along with CMDA and CLS, we'll be taking a day trip to the lake house
at Hyco Lake on Saturday September 5th. You

**Operation Christmas Child**
Operation
Christmas Child is an international service project run by
Samaritan's Purse
that sends "shoeboxes" of school supplies, toys,
clothing and other little treats to children in need around the world.
The Women's Small Group will be putting together some boxes
and we encourage other small groups or individuals to participate as
well. Instructions on items to include and packing info are on the OCC
website. Local drop-off locations the week of November 17-24 are Grey Stone Baptist Church
and Chapel Hill
Bible
Church. If you bring completed boxes to Large Group
on 11/14/08, Amber Díaz will drop all of them off.

bring a friend! Please bring an instrument and/or music if

Scripture with the group.
**NOTE**
The
Chapel is locked at 8:00PM during the summer (there will be no
attendant upstairs after that time). We have permission to be
in
the basement after lock-up, but if you cannot get there before 8:00,
make sure you have a friend who will be there to let you in because
