All candidates for degrees (including graduates of September and December, 2007) who participate in the Graduation Exercises wear academic apparel which can be reserved by completing and returning the mailed apparel card or ordering from the website. Candidates for the LL.M., J.D., D.P.T., M.D., and Ph.D. wear rental apparel; all other advanced degrees are purchased outfits.

Payment for all apparel must be made when it is picked up from Duke University Store, beginning April 28, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. until noon on Saturday, May 10. If you are unable to pick up your apparel at the designated time, you can arrange for someone to do so for you but they must have your payment and sizes to be certain the apparel is correct. Please do not call the Office of the University Marshal or the University Store to request special arrangements for apparel. Please indicate on the apparel card if you have your own academic apparel.

Invitations
Each degree candidate is entitled to eight engraved invitations for the Graduation Exercises without charge. These invitations will be available from April 7 to April 11 in the Duke University Store, Bryan University Center. Additional invitations may be purchased at the Store for 50 cents each.

If you are unable to pick up your invitations, you may obtain them by writing directly to the Duke University Store (Box 90850, Duke University, Durham, NC 27708-0850) before April 8. Please include $1.00 to cover handling and mailing charges.
