My name is Trinity and I’m a senior Reggie scholar in Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. Here at Duke, I am pursuing an English major and a French minor. I have been involved with The Girl’s Club, a mentoring organization that pairs female Duke undergraduates with young women in Durham-area middle schools. I am also interested in foreign languages and African and African-American Studies. While at Duke I have also been able to study abroad in Brazil and soon I will take part in a volunteer program in Tanzania.
After graduation, I will be teaching secondary English in New York City with Teach for America for two years. Ultimately, I would like to pursue law school and/or a graduate program in African Studies in the hopes of either becoming a university professor or practicing law.
