Cardio/Dance/Toning:

BBC: Boxing Boot Camp. Boxing drills, step intervals, resistance exercises. Intermediate/advanced fitness levels, all skill levels welcome.
Bhangra: Indian folk movements that are an energetic fusion of music and dance.
BT: Body Tone. Uses weights, bands, tubing, the step and stability ball for a total body workout for everyone.
CD: Cardio Dance.  There’s a little hip-hop and a lot of Latin in this moderate intensity class.
HipHop: A dance workout.  You will learn choreography to a piece of music or song (will vary each class). This class is slower paced but intense.
KB: Kickboxing. A martial arts-style workout with moderate impact that is appropriate for intermediate exercisers.
KBB: Kickboxing bag. Uses weighted bags for kicking and punching.
STEP: A low to moderate impact class that will improve coordination and cardiovascular conditioning through choreographed combinations.

Mind/Body:

ASY:  Ashtanga yoga, which builds heat, balance, and coordination. Tuesday’s class will be Chandra Krama, the moon sequence.
HY: Traditional Hatha yoga class based on an ancient form of movement that promotes balance and flexibility. A great way to start learning yoga!
PIL: Pilates mat. Class emphasizes strong abdominal and back muscles to improve strength and posture.
RRR:  A Hatha yoga class that will help you relax, renew and realign.
Y/P: Hatha yoga and Pilates.

 

Additional information: Water is permitted in studios in an unbreakable, enclosed container. Please place backpacks and gym bags in the locker room or the studio closet and place shoes and extra clothing outside the classroom. Try to arrive on time to classes, and early if you are new to that class. All classes are on going and open to anyone with access to either recreational center. Please turn off cell phones.
