Overlooking John's Rock in Pisgah National Forest Conceived in the summer of 2004, Duke Outdoor Adventure was started as an official University-sponsored progam to supplement and support the existing outdoor community at Duke. Currently the program sponsors several Physical Education classes and other, shorter clinics geared towards both introducing newcomers to outdoor sports, and to futher the knowlege of more experienced students.
