L 11-0 L 3-0

Only ten players went
on the road trip, and depth
was a major problem in both games. Game 1 A tough
loss, as the heavy-hitting JMU offense hit 3 HRs in an 11-0 rout. Game 2 Despite
a
solid outing from Brian Rafkin, the offense only managed 4 hits in a 3-0 defeat.

Another tough
loss, the third straight on the road trip. With only 10 players, many guys were playing
out of position. Despite 11 hits and another good outing from Perry (7 IP, 2 ER),
multiple errors killed the team in the 11-6 loss.

Parent's
Weekend Game 1 We easily took the first game, behind 6 innings on 1-hit
baseball
from
Newman. We scored 11 runs on 14 hits in the 11-1 win. Attendance: double
digits.
Game 2 A good start from Isaac Dolgovskij (5 innings, 1
ER) was wasted. Errors resulting from multiple guys playing out of position were
costly, and we lost 13-1.

We lost a tough
game, 14-11 in 10
innings. The team had 15 hits, but it wasn't enough. Only 12 guys showed
up to play, and three left during the game. The nine guys who stayed did a
hell of a job. A 4-run rally in the bottom of the ninth (capped by
Rafkin's 2-run single) tied the score at eleven, before Carolina scored 3
in the top of the tenth.
I thought we played a damn good game today considering we only had one or
two subs. Our fall season is over now. We finished 10-6, not too bad at
all.
