Duke Hockey planning for California Trip in January 2006
DURHAM, NC -- The Duke Hockey team is planning to head to
the west coast in early January 2006. Every four years, Duke
teams are allowed to take a "dream trip" and the
Duke squad is planning to use their trip in sunny California.
During the trip, the squad plans on playing four games
against California-Berkeley, San Jose State, USC and then
UCLA. The trip will also afford the team a great bonding
opportunity in warm and scenic California. The team will
be spending the trip in San Francisco and then Los Angeles.
The tentative itinerary for the trip is as follows:
>Tuesday, January 3rd: Fly out to San
Francisco
>Wednesday, January 4th: Sightseeing
in San Francisco
>Thursday, January 5th: Game vs. California-Berkeley
>Friday, January 6th: Game vs. San Jose
State
>Saturday, January 6th: Travel to Los
Angeles (seven-hour bus trip)
>Saturday, January 7th: Game vs. USC
>Sunday, January 8th: Game vs. UCLA
>Monday, January 9th: Sightseeing in
Los Angeles
>Tuesday, January 10th: 7 AM flight
back to Durham, NC (arrives around 4:30PM)
>Wednesday, January 11th: First day
of second-semester classes at Duke
