We are a group of Duke undergraduate and medical students committed to ending health disparities through education, fundraising and professional development. By creating a community of awareness around global health issues particular to women, we work to endorse health and gender equity worldwide.

a. We seek to address the unmet healthcare needs of poor womenglobally. b. We work to raise awareness of health care challenges distinct to women, to raise funds for particular global women's health projects, to create opportunities for student and faculty involvement in these projects and to bring together a diverse group of individuals for meaningful discourse on women's global health. c. We unite behind the desire to alleviate suffering now and create lasting improvements globally, with the belief that women's health cannot be improved without concomitant attention to their economic, educational and political rights.
