Chinese Hall
Chinese Hall is a very diverse collection of people, with residents from places as far-flung as Persia, Singapore and Thailand, all united by a common love and curiosity for the Chinese language and culture. The proficiency of members of the hall also varies, with beginners and native speakers alike participating in the various hall activities.
Activities we participate in and organize include the annual Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations, Lunar New Year Celebrations, among the multitude of traditional Chinese festivals. We also organize sessions where we play traditional Chinese games, learn folk arts like lantern-making, all while enjoying authentic Chinese cuisine.
Annual trips are also organized on the side, for bonding within the Hall and the Dorm, with ski trips and hiking trips being a regular fixture over the course of each year. Interested? Xiao Zhang and Shirley Lung (NETIDs xz28, shirley.lung) may be contacted.
