Students
are admitted through the regular admission process in Duke's English
Department Graduate Studies. Prospective
students who wish to apply for admission into the PhD program must contact the Duke
Graduate School for GRE requirements, deadlines and application
forms. See also English Department Graduate Studies for any specific requirements of that department.
A master's degree
is not a requirement for application to the doctoral program; however,
prospective students who do not have a master's degree may consider
applying for admission to the Masters
Program in English Linguistics at North Carolina State University.
To determine which
of these options is best for you, please feel free to consult
with Professor Walt Wolfram at
NC State University, walt_wolfram@ncsu.edu or Julie Tetel Andresen, Chair of the Duke Linguistics Program, jtetel@duke.edu. |
