About Us
- Who we are - Maxwell
is a coed selective living group of about fifty residents
located in Keohane Quad (West-Edens Link).
- Atmosphere - Maxwell
has a friendly, comfortable, fun, and active atmosphere, in some
ways reminiscent of the type of community seen in first-year
dormitories.
- Mentorship - Unlike
freshman dormitories, Maxwell is comprised of both upper- and
underclassmen. The undergraduate experience is greatly enhanced
when sophomores, juniors, and seniors all live together.
- Diversity - Our m
embers have a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. Maxwellians
are leaders in all sorts of campus clubs, organizations, and
academic endeavors.
- A Social House - We
throw parties for ourselves and the rest of campus, and also
feature several other big social events for members throughout
the year. The day-to-day interactions among housemates are the
best part.
- Service and Programming
- Maxwell provides ample opportunities for community
service and campus involvement, strengthened by the advantages
of fifty passionate people working and living together.
- Rush - We choose our
members through a fun laid-back rush process at the start of
each spring semester. All interested freshmen and sophomores
are encouraged to come to the events and get to know us.
- Dues - All
activities are funded through dues, which are currently $150 per semester.
- Constitution - Our
Constitution can be accessed
