Our Mission

The Buddhist Community at Duke provides opportunities for people to learn about and practice Buddhist spirituality and self-cultivation. We also hope to build a unified community of Buddhists on campus, and to link the campus community to other Buddhist groups in the area. We are culturally and religiously diverse, and we welcome both Buddhists and non-Buddhists from all backgrounds. No Buddhist affiliation, experience in meditation, or ongoing commitment is required to participate in any of our activities. Everyone is welcome!
