From CASA on the 2004 awards...

"Since the first CARAs in the early '90s, OOTB has held strong in the soloist category. Rebecca Haffajee was no exception to this rule as she swayed the judges with her beautiful tone, great pitch, emotive singing and outstanding originality."

"It takes a talented arranger to energize a choral arrangement of a song, but Brianna Crawley does just that. With perfectly placed bell tones and rolling block chords, she creates a soundscape that is mesmerizing."

In 2006, our seventh CD, Walk On, was nominated for "Best Female Collegiate A Cappella Album," "Best Song" (Devils & Angels), and "Best Arrangement," (Jacqueline Ou: Stupid). Click here to check out 2006 awards.

OOTB was also selected (for "Stupid" from Walk On) to be featured on Voices Only 2006, a 2-CD compilation of the nation's top a cappella. "Stupid" from Walk On and "Crush" from OOTB's next album won "Best Female Collegiate Arrangement" in the 2006 Contemporary A Cappella Publishing Competition.
OOTB has also been featured on Best of College A Cappella CD's consistently over the years. You can listen to OOTB on Volumes 1, 2, BOCA 1998, BOCA 2000, BOCA 2002, and BOCA 2005 with "Nick of Time," "Mercy Street," "Train in Vain," "You Were Mine," "Eve," and "She Will Be Loved," respectively.
