Service-Learning Courses in the Program in Education
Most Education courses offered through the Program in Education provide students with supervised service-learning experiences that are related to academic coursework. Through Partners for Success, students are placed at local public and independent schools to work with students in the Durham community. Students report that these service-learning experiences are a meaningful way to learn more about and give to children in the Durham community, as well as learn more about their own interests.
