Become a Member of the Prospective Health Care Club If you are interested in joining PHCC, please send an email to joel.burrill@duke.edu with the subject heading: "Joining PHCC." Some reasons that might interest you in joining: Dear Prospective Member, I realize that most of you--as Duke students tend to be--are inundated with work and co-curricular opportunities. Below are three reasons why PHCC might be a great fit for you: 1. We are a new club. There is much opportunity to participate and to advance to a leadership role. 2. We are multidisciplinary. Regardless of your academic interest or potential major, as long as you are interested in health and health care, we can use you! We focus on the traditional medical aspect of health care--but also on the economic and public policy viewpoints. 3. We are multimodal. If you are interested in recruiting special speakers, we have a Forum Committee. If you are interested in writing, we have a Publications Committee. If you are more focused on the scholarly side of health care, we have a Curricular Involvement Committee. Finally, if you want to help people and serve your community, we have a place for you--Community Service Committee.
