The Multicultural Center is the official home of the Center for Race Relations and contributes its physical space, staff support, financial assistance, organizational advising, and a plethora of tangible and intangible support to the Center for Race Relations.

The Office for Institutional Equity has been immeasurably valuable in aiding curriculum development and training support for the CRR's leadership. The Office for Institutional Equity is responsible for education, training and programming for the faculty, staff and administration at the University and the Medical Center.

John Hope Franklin Center

The CRR has benefited tremendously from the support of the John Hope Franklin Center's faculty and staff and from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation's Making the Humanities Central" Grant. Additionally, the John Hope Franklin Center frequently brings speakers and exhibits that address race and identity.

Women's Center

The Women's Center has been a primary campus supporter of the Center for Race Relations. The Women's Center offers programming, volunteer opportunities, and counseling for Duke students around gender, sexism, heterosexism, and sexual assault, among many other things.

Center for LGBT Life at Duke

The Center for LGBT Life has actively engaged its students and personnel in the activities of the CRR. Students from the Alliance for Queer Undergraduates at Duke (AQUADuke) have led DORRs and encouraged members to attend Common Ground.

Hart Leadership Program

The Hart Leadership Program (HLP), a program of the Terry Sanford Institute for Public Policy, is the home of the Enterprising Leadership Incubator (ELI) and the birth of the CRR. The HLP has generously supported the CRR through staff resources and leadership development.

ELI provides leadership support services and personal guidance to the founders of the CRR. ELI has been a major sponsor of the Center for Race Relations, as the initial idea for the Center was born in a class taught by Tony Brown within ELI.

The Kenan Institute is a financial sponsor of Common Ground, as part of the Institute's mission to promote moral reflection and lives of personal integrity.

Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation

The Z. Smith Reynolds foundation, a North Carolina grant-making foundation located in Winston Salem, NC, has dedicated large financial resources to the future of Common Ground, specifically to the expansion and yearly renewal of the program.

The Hewlett Foundation

The Hewlett Foundation, through a major gift to the Center for Multicultural Affairs, contributed nearly half of the annual budget for Common Ground 2003. The gift was dedicated to exploring multiple identities, a topic developed on the Fall Break retreat.
