As the Co-President of the Center for Race Relations, I lead the executive board and general student body of the organization. I coordinate and lead the development and ongoing activities of each of our five departments, and ensure that the day to day activities of the organization are functioning smoothly. Along with Trevor, I serve as the "face" of this organization, and serve as the representative to various university committees, administrators, and associated organizations. As President, I am committed to transforming the face of race relations at Duke, and I hope to lead the CRR with this vision for the remainder of my term and for years beyond.

It is a joy and a privilege to serve the Center for Race Relations in this capacity. Working alongside Kathy, it is my hope that our mission and vision will continue to spread to the silenced students on Duke's campus. In addition to allying ourselves with the oppressed, Kathy and I hope that groups and individuals will use the resources of the Center at their disposal when concerned about issues both on campus and in the greater community. We serve not just the members of our organization, but all students, faculty, and staff. Welcome to the Center for Race Relations' website. I hope you'll take a brief moment to familiarize yourself with who we are and what we do.

The DORRs program provides the opportunity for students to hear perspectives that are not often shared with people who do not agree with those perspectives. The importance of this function should not be understated, because understanding must serve as the catalyst for campus change. As Co-chair of DORRs, I work with Ying-Ying to facilitate discussions that will help the Duke community grow through the exchange of ideas.
