Pashto 1. Elementary Pashto.

Acquisition of the Arabic-based script, the mechanics of right-to-left reading and writing, the sounds of the language, and the basic sentence types. Emphasis on reading comprehension and writing, accurate pronunciation and spoken ability. Simple dialogues and conversations used to lay the foundation for oral proficiency. Includes poems and short videos, online multimedia resources, and interaction with class guests. One course. Staff
