How to enable JavaScript if you are using ...

Internet Explorer for Windows:

  • from the "Tools" menu, choose "Internet Options"
  • in the Internet Options window that pops up, select the "Security" tab/folder
  • select "Internet" (the globe symbol)
  • click on "Custom Level ..."
  • scroll down to "Scripting" (close to the bottom of the small screen)
  • under "Active scripting," select "Enable"
  • click "OK" to close the Custom Level window
  • click "OK" to close the Internet Options window
  • to restart the survey, click here

Mozilla Firefox for Windows:

  • from the "Tools" menu, choose "Options"
  • in the Options window that pops up, there will be a small horizontal icons on the top; click on the globe or "Content" in that window
  • put a check mark into the box labeled "Enable JavaScript"
  • click "OK" to close the Preferences window
  • to restart the survey, click here

Opera for Windows:

  • From the "Tools" menu, select "Preferences ..." (or press Ctrl+F12)
  • select the "Advanced" tab in the Preferences window that pops up
  • select "Content" from the menu on the left
  • put a check mark into the box labeled "Enable JavaScript" (3rd option from the bottom)
  • click "OK" to close the Preferences window
  • to restart the survey, click here

 

Apple Safari for Mac:

  • from the "Safari" drop-down menu, choose "Preferences..."
  • in the small window that pops up, select "Security" from the horizontal menu at the top by clicking on the padlock symbol or the word "Security"
  • put a check mark into the box labeled "Enable JavaScript" (third option under "Web Content")
  • close the small Preferences window to accept the change
  • to restart the survey, click here

Mozilla Firefox for Mac:

  • from the "Firefox" drop-down menu, choose "Preferences ..."
  • in the small Preferences window that pops up, there will be a small vertical menu on the left; select "Web Features" by clicking on the globe symbol or the words "Web Features"
  • put a check mark into the box labeled "Enable JavaScript" (last of the "Web Features" options)
  • click "OK" to close the Preferences window
  • to restart the survey, click here

Opera for the Mac:

  • from the "Opera" drop-down menu (right next to the Apple menu) ...
  • ... choose "Quick preferences" and select "Enable JavaScript" (9th option)
  • to restart the survey, click here
     

Internet Explorer for Mac:

  • from the "Exporer" drop-down menu, choose "Preferences ..."
  • inside the Internet Explorer Preferences window that pops up, there is a scrollable smaller window on the left
  • select "Web Content" in that smaller window (2nd item in the "Web Browser" section)
  • at the bottom of the screen that opens on the right side (inside the Internet Explorer Preferences window), select "Enable scripting" in the "Active Content" section
  • click "OK" to close the Preferences window
