Declaring a Major/Advising

If you are interested in becoming a Theater Studies major or minor, please contact Professor Jeff Storer, Director of Undergraduate Studies.  Majors are assigned faculty advisors in the student's area of interest.  Theater Studies second majors are assigned faculty advisors, but they receive their PINs from their first major advisors.  Professor Storer advises all Theater Studies minors.  To make an appointment with your advisor, contact him or her via email or office phone.  Consult the Directory for faculty contact information.

Your major advisor will work with you to help you plan your courses to ensure that you meet the major requirements for graduation.  Your advisor can also assist you in the rest of your academic planning and decision-making, as well as serve as a sounding board as you consider your options and choices beyond Duke.

The Department of Theater Studies offers the designation of Graduation With Distinction, High Distinction, and Highest Distinction. Read more about the procedures and requirements.

Appointments with Professor Storer may be made by calling 660-3363.  Professor Storer's email address is Jmsheepdog@gmail.com.
