Welcome to the Turkish Students Association at Duke University. Our Association was established by a relatively small number of students in 1994 to raise awareness about modern Turkish Republic in the Duke Community and in the Triangle area. Over the years, we have grown into one of the largest student associations at Duke University with over 50 members. Every semester, Turkish Student Association organizes an annual Turkish Barbeque Night for its members. Accomodation of the needs of the Turkish community at Duke University is one of our prime goals. In addition, through participation in various cultural organizations such as International Food Fest and Spring International, TSA presents Republic of Turkey, its People, genuine Turkish food, and Turkish music to the Duke community. Newcomers are encouraged to contact the members of the governing body of the TSA, so that their adaptation can be smoothened as much as possible. On our brandnew web page, you can find more information about TSA and its events as well as basic information about Turkey and some of the Turkish Organizations in triangle area of North Carolina.
