Welcome to the Turkish Student Association at Duke University. Our Association was established by a relatively small number of students in 1994 to raise awareness about modern Turkish Republic in the Duke Community and in the Triangle area. Over the years, we have grown into one of the largest student associations at Duke University with over 50 members.

Every year, Turkish Student Association organizes an annual Turkish Night, where it tries to represent Republic of Turkey and its People to the Duke and the Triangle Community. Genuine Turkish food, Turkish music, dance performances, fashion shows highlight most of the Turkish Nights presented at Duke. Every year about 300 people join us at this event and most leave promising to return next year.

Besides the Turkish Night, TSA also organizes barbeque parties to bring together the Turkish students on campus and discuss their problems. Accomodating the needs of Turkish community at Duke University is one of our prime goals. Newcomers are encouraged to contact the members of the governing body of the TSA, so that their adaptation can be smoothened as much as possible.

Turkish Student Association also has helped founding of the ATSA-C (Assembly of Turkish Student Assocations in the Carolinas) together with UNC-Chapel Hill Turkish Club, TSA at North Carolina State University, and TSA at UNC-Charlotte.

TSA nin bir onceki yonetimi mezun olduktan sonra bu sayfanin kontrolu elimizden cikmistir ve gerekli guncellemeler yapilamamistir. Kisa sure once yonetimini elimize gecirdigimiz bu sayfa ile su anda aktif olarak kullanilan Duke-TSA sayfasini cok kisa sure icinde birlestirecegiz. Bu birlestirme muhtemelen 2007 fall donemine sarkacaktir. Su anda okulda bulunan ogrencileri toplamak icin yahoo da bir grup (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/duke-tsa/) olusturuldu. Lutfen bu guruba uye olunuz ve bu grubun canlandirilmasina katkida bulununuz.
