    2000

It's not too late to send in your pledge form!
This year's United Way campaign at Duke University is already the most sucessful in our history. Donations from University staff have already reached the million dollar mark as daily pledges continue to take us toward our goal of $1.1 million -- our highest mark ever.

We still need to hear from a few more folks to reach our target. If you still wish to participate, it's not too late to return your pledge form. In fact, anyone who returns a card to help put us over the top will have their name included in a drawing to take place on November 8. Two of the prizes to be included in the drawing are a set of Carolina Hurricane hockey tickets for Sunday, November 26 and a Duke recreation membership.

Employees can drop off pledge cards at any one of the various drop off locations:

Room 105 Bio-Sciences Building. This building is off Science Drive near the
XXXXX Bryan Center. The box is in Caroline Usher's office.
    Room 5242 Duke North
    Room 5243 Duke North
    Room 1290 Duke South,
    (See Angela Jones)
    Room 1151, Duke South
    (Scott Gibson's office)
Dan Rodas' office in the Allen Building
(There is a blue box in his lobby area)
    North Pavilion, 7th floor lobby.
To be eligible for this drawing, pledge cards need to be returned by Monday, November 6.

Duke donations help fund 90 Triangle United Way agencies throughout the region that provide assistance to daycare, pre- and after-school education, disaster relief, homelessness, literacy, and substance abuse prevention programs and more.
