5:30pm-6:30pm: Intellectual Life Event

Join other scholarship finalists for an intellectually engaging discussion with Samuel Wells, Dean of the Chapel..

12:30 pm-3:30 pm: Free Time/ Scavenger Hunt/ / Nasher Art Museum / DiVE Tour for Engineers
Join the other finalists for a scavenger hunt at 2:00 pm. Check out the Nasher Art Museum. Tour the DiVE
(Duke Immersive Virtual Environment). Relax in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, one of Duke’s most beautiful locales. Meeting spot: Garden Gazebo. Rain day location: (East Campus). For all finalists.
4:00 pm-6:30 pm: Full Frame Documentary Film Festival
(Carolina Theater, Downtown Durham)
Durham’s four-day, morning to midnight film festival. Recognized by both The New York Times and indieWIRE as the premier documentary film festival in the United States. For all finalists.

Information sessions available on numerous Duke programs and opportunities, including FOCUS, Study Abroad, Women’s Initiative, Pratt & Trinity Curriculums, Pre-law, Pre-med, Pre-business, Undergraduate Research, Residential Life, Career Center Services, and more. Please see attached for specifics.
8:45 am-4:00 pm: Committee Interviews
(Franklin Center, French Family Sciences Center - various rooms)
Includes a 30-45 minute interview with committees. Interview times and rooms are noted on your folder. University Scholars Program Faculty Advisors and current Graduate, Professional School and Undergraduate Scholars will be leading the interviews.
12:00 pm-1:00 pm: Brown Bag Lunch
(Main West Quad)
Purchase lunch at a West Campus vendor of your choosing and meet up with current scholars & other Uni finalists in front of the James B. Duke statue on Main West Quad. An excellent venue for people watching. Rain day location: Alpine Atrium in The Bryan Center.
6:00 pm: Closing Dinner, Office of Undergraduate Scholars & Fellows
