Mission Trips

This Year's Trips: March 6-14, 2009

Puentes de Cristo in Reynosa, Mexico, led by Matthew Scully, Director of the Episcopal Campus Ministry at ECU.

Manaqua, Nicaragua led by Rev. Cheryl Barton Henry, Duke, and Rev. John Rogers, UNC.

Financial Commitments and Help

The total cost (including deposit) for the Mexico trip is $1,100; for the Nicaragua trip, $1,500. All trip participants are required to make a $300 deposit, due December 1st, before the first trip meeting. There is a limited amount of financial aid available by application to the Missions Subcommittee of the New Hope Presbytery Campus Ministry Committee. Campus Ministers may be aware of other funding options. Contact Cherrie for more information.

Applications must be submitted by November 3rd. Specific details can be obtained by contacting the trip leaders or by reading the mission brochure below.
