WiSE OWL (outstanding women leader) Award will be announced. Nominations will be accepted till March 21, and winners will be recognized on a reception in the Student Appreciation Week (first week of April). Heidi K. has done a fabulous job on this.

Mentoring program will have two career related events. These are only open to WiSE mentoring program participants and WiSE PC members. Both events will be held at 12-1:30PM at the Women’s Center. RSVP to Carrie at caroline.ring@duke.edu

Feb 19. Resume workshop
Learn how to polish your resume with Dr. Virginia Steinmetz, Director of Graduate Student Career Services. Share tips and discuss with peers and mentors.

March 2, MBTI workshop
Participants will take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test online beforehand. The workshop consists of results distribution and interpretation.

Another PC meeting will take place in late March to select WiSE OWL Award winners and to decide on fall 2007 events.
