WiSE subcommittees
WiSE has expanded in many ways over the last few years, which is very exciting! However, it also means that there is more planning to be done, so there are opportunities to become more deeply involved in WiSE planning. We would like to form sub-committees to work together on the different WiSE projects. You are not required but encouraged to join a sub-committee. It will be a fun way to get more involved (and a good resume booster!).The sub-committees will be:
* Mentoring program (leader: Carrie)
* WiSE awards (leader: Heidi K.)
* T-shirts & WiSE customized items (leader: Heather)
* Reading Group (leader: Valerie)
* Lunch discussion series & distinguished speaker event (leader: Tong)
Please consider helping out with a sub-committee! (or maybe two!) This will really help to spread out some of the PC work, and to make all of our projects better. We have made a commitment to the S&E women of Duke, and it's important for us to follow through in the best possible way. If you would like to join a sub-committee, please contact Tong or the project leaders.

I'm happy to help each subcommittee out for whatever website needs they have. But if you want to work on it yourselves or have access to it that's fine too, just let me know.
