required: none, but pictures would make a great addition.

preparation time.
This
game is appropriate for all ages.
At
least 15-20 minutes is needed to play this game.
This is a great companion game to planting some flowers in pots you paint
with the kids, or a similar spring-time activity, and also when talking
about seed dispersal.
Divide the kids into two groups, the flowers and the wind, and situate
them facing each other across enough distance to allow room to run. Give
the flowers their name (ie the type of flower they are). Then have the
flowers approach the wind and, when they get about five feet away, have
the wind players guess the type of flower based on clues you give. For
example, if the flowers are buttercups, you could say, "These flowers go
great with bread." When the right flower is guessed, the flower players
must run back to their starting line and the wind players chase them. If
a flower is tagged, he becomes a member of the wind.
