National Women's Studies Association
NWSA supports and promotes feminist/womanist teaching, learning, research, and professional and community service at the pre-K through post-secondary levels and serves as a locus of information about the inter-disciplinary field of Women's Studies for those outside the profession. NWSA publishes a newsletter NWSAction, the quarterly NWSA Journal and other publications. NWSA's annual conference provides an opportunity for teachers, students, scholars, activists, and community and cultural workers to share research findings, strategies, and programmatic concerns for effecting social change.

Southeastern Women's Studies Association
Founded in 1977 at the first National Women's Studies Association convention, SEWSA shares the goals and activities of NWSA, including professional development and the creation of a national network of feminists who have a collective voice in education and feminist advocacy. We also strive to foster greater understanding of racial, ethnic and class diversity among women. Living and working in the southeast, we are keenly attentive to the unique needs of our distinctly southern region. Thus, we are building our own network of information and support.

National Council for Research on Women
NCRW, founded in 1981, is a working alliance of 77 women's research and policy centers, more than 3,000 affiliates -- both individuals and organizations -- and a network of over 200 international centers. NCRW's mission is to enhance the connections among research, policy analysis, advocacy, and innovative programming on behalf of women and girls.

Women's International Studies Europe (WISE)
WISE (Women's International Studies Europe) is a feminist studies association, formally constituted in 1990. WISE stands for the promotion of women's studies research, teaching and publication in Europe, and the defence of women's studies on a European and international level in all appropriate institutions and organizations. WISE has developed a considerable number of projects to achieve its goals and is supported by the European Commission, national ministeries and national women's studies associations. The European association is well established and has national contacts in almost every European country. The Council of Europe and the UN recognise WISE as a Non-Governmental Organisation.
