Biography:
Professor Abdulkadiroglu joined the Department of Economics at Duke University in the Fall of 2006. His research, teaching and consulting interests are in market and mechanism design and game theory. He helped the New York City Department of Education design the high school matching system. He also helped redesign the matching system used in Boston Public Schools. He received his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Rochester. He is a recipient of a number of scientific awards, including a Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship and a National Science Foundation CAREER award.
