Please No Florida Repeat

Florida has been having an awful fall so far. This hurricane season has been ridiculously brutal, and it's not actually over yet. This makes it difficult for candidates to campaign in Florida as it is seen as inconsiderate to those in need. This is true, and it only makes the situation for November in this southern state scarier. Florida is a battleground state if any state is. They had issues with their old voting situation, and there will be issues with the new voting system, regardless of what it is. All I can hope for is that there is no Florida repeat this year, or that if there is a repeat that it not be in Florida, for the sake of these people. The last thing they need is a bunch of lawyers and politicians invading their destroyed home to count votes.

Note: inspiration came from http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3685968.stm
In this article, many Floridian voting issues are brought to light. This includes the description of a group, Stand Up Florida, that's registering residents to vote and is highlighting ballot spoilage in the last election, claiming without it Gore would have won. The article also describes the new voting system and optimism that it will work according to plan. I hope this is true.
