Welcome!
I'm currently a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. I've recently accepted a faculty position, so I'm looking forward to joining the Biology Department at Eastern Michigan University in the 2009-2010 acadmic year. I enjoy both research and teaching, and my postdoctoral training has been through the UNC-Chapel Hill Seeding Postdoctoral Innovators in Research and Education (SPIRE) program. The goal of the SPIRE program is to broadly train postdoctoral fellows in both research and teaching and to increase diversity in science professions.
