FVD 133s - Adapting Literature, Producing Film

It's my hope that this has been a meaningful, engaging, and stimulating experience
for all of the extremely talented students I had in the class.

The project hopefully serves many purposes.  First and foremost it was a way to introduce people to
Charles W. Chesnutt, one of the greatest African American writers of all time.
It was an interesting way to understand the history of that time period in context.

And of course the idea that the university was willing to provide the resources to make this film speaks to the university's commitment to the students and its commitment to creative, new, and innovative approaches to education.
