Advisory Board, Romeo Dallaire Genocide Institute (London, Ontario)
Member of the Advisory Board and an Instructor at a five-day summer institute to train high school teachers in genocide pedagogy. The program is a joint program of the Association for the Elimination of Hate and the Holocaust Literature Research Institute at Western. (2003-2006)

Operations Committee, Camp Wendake (London, Ontario)
Member of the Operations Committee and volunteer summer staff member at Camp Wendake, a week-long residential summer camp for people living with HIV and AIDS and their care-givers and loved-ones. Committee responsibilities include: staff/camper communications; web site development; and quarterly camp newsletters. (2002-2005)

Director, Homes for the Homeless Camp Kiwago (New York)
Past Director, Camp Kiwago: seasonal supervisor of 60 staff and 80 children at a residential educational summer program for children aged 6-14 who are living in NYC homeless shelters; responsible for all staff recruitment and training; donation acquisition; daily supervision of all areas of camp: program areas, infirmary, kitchen, waterfront, site maintenance, and staff support; literacy and outdoor education curriculum development and design. (1997-2002)
