Now when Johnny came past, Timmy noticed that he wasn't wearing the same old top hat that he normally wore. No, Johnny was wearing a special sort of hat. This hat was in the shape of a taurus, with "HELLO!" on top in 3D text, and floated like a halo above Johnny's head. (The fact that this was physically impossible only intrigued Timmy more.) Now Timmy just had to know about this hat. "Nice hat," he said.
After waiting the requisite quarter-second for a response, Timmy continued: "Where did you get it?"
"I found it on the path," Johnny replied.
"Can I have it?" asked Timmy. (Timmy's knack for making reasonable requests was second only to his mastery of English semantics.)
"No!" snapped Johnny.
At this, poor Timmy's jealousy overtook him. He lunged at his friend with outstretched arm in order to snatch the hat. Johnny, alarmed, shouted "Hey!" then turned and ran. Timmy took after him and chased Johnny right around the Old Birch Tree and on off the screen, but, alas, his (quite possibly former) friend was too swift, and Timmy Snowman never got the special hat.
