This web site is always undergoing renovation, so look for new additions in the future. Below is a directory to my web pages. Feel free to check them out.
| Professional Page (updated November 2005) |
I completed my PhD December 2002 at Duke University in the Biology Department. Briefly, I work on microrganisms that inhabit the nectar of flowers. The link to the left is to my professional page that outlines my research interests. You can also visit my C.V. directly, read about my main advisor, Janis Antonovics, at the University of Virginia, or read about my co-advisor, Rytas Vilgalys, at Duke University. Currently I am working at Duke University as the Microbiology (Bio 103L) Teaching Lab's Administrator/Instructor. |

| Personal Page | This contains personal information, such as information regarding my wedding, pictures of family, friends, and pets, and information on hobbies. This page will have more information about my hobbies of knitting and spinning yarn. I am a member of a very active fiber guild in the lcoal area, the Twisted Threads Fiber Arts Guild which is based in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Cary, but has members from all over the N.C. area. I also maintain a blog, Clicking Needles, with a friend, Robin S. The blog focuses on knitting and spinning, but includes articles on weaving (Robin), felting, and includes some "How to" topics, like how to make a drop spindle. |
