Related Projects

Additional projects I'm working on, under the penname, Anne Bramley:

•Working with Daniel H. Foster, I created in the Eat Feed Podcast in January 2005 to bring new technology to scholarly topics. The project combines Duke's support of Daniel's applications of technolgy to art with my academic research on food and literature. Eat Feed focuses on food history, contemporary food politics, and related issues and has now grown to a larger, collaborative project that gives voice to food scholars in the academy and food experts in the field. Awarded Podcast of the Year by the Portable Media Expo and Podcasting Conference Awards Committee, November 2005.

• "The Groaning Board" in Renaissance Magazine, a regular column devoted to medieval and Renaissance food issues.

• Seasonal audio pieces for Chefs. Each month, for 15 months, they will release a new work of mine that focuses on seasonal tastes with a historical twist. Check out apples and wild rice in the fall, chocolate and goose in winter, maple syrup and rhubarb in the spring, and ice cream and sweet corn in the summer.
