______________________________________________________________________
His first computer was a blazingly fast Intel 486 machine with a whopping 60Mhz of processing power and a mind-blowing 500MB Hard Disk. Perry has used every version of windows since 3.1 and has played around with Macs. He is currently learning how to use linux with a version installed on a virtual machine. Julia, his Dell Axim Pocket PC has also been a close companion to him for over a year now.

Perry is trying to cut down on videogames and Facebook but mostly uses his PC for checking out email, current news and for instant messaging. He occasionally works on some flash websites but chose not to do this assignment in flash.

After Perry finished his first major java project for IB Computer Science Higher Level, he realized that he could program a computer to do almost anything. He came to America to study computer science with the hopes of becoming proficient enough to write a program to take over the world.

Perry imagines that Computer Scientists spend their days solving complex problems both directly related to efficiency in computing and also from other fields like Molecular Biology and Nuclear Physics, using computers.

When he sleeps at night, Perry has nightmares about the Huff assignment from CPS 100… He spent several hours trying to make his program write full data to his files. He learned after many nights that all he had to do was close the file after writing to it, to finish the process.

He has, however, become a better programmer and this summer, had much fun coding a Sudoku Solver just for kicks.

In the future, Perry sees himself possibly working on operating system design
