Short Biography:
Bahar Leventoglu joined the Political Science Department at Duke University in the Fall of 2006. She taught at Stonybrook University, New York, before coming to Duke. She received her PhD in Political Science at the University of Rochester. Leventoglu's research program spans three main areas: (1) Rationalist Explanations of War; (2) Public Commitment in International Relations; (3) Political Transitions. Her work has appeared in American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Theoretical Politics.
