Tim Büthe: Research
| I am interested in how institutions empower and constrain
political actors, why institutions persist or change, and how domestic and international institutions interact.
I have pursued these overarching research interests in several distinct projects, each of which focuses on a specific
issue in the international political economy. The venn diagram below situates my current and completed research projects
relative to three broad themes: global private politics, delegation of regulatory authority, and international institutions. |
