Well, the Italy story arc is finally over. It took, surprisingly, less time than the "Rave" story arc from way back when. I blame that on the last couple of weeks and my faithful comicery during this hard, difficult time. *grin*
So, now that we're back home, you might enjoy what was going on in the meantime. It's a little late to be an entirely topical video game comic, but it's STILL a video game comic, so many of you might not "get it." I like to think, though, that some of you'll find it just as entertaining as I do. Like, maybe two of you. See, the whole thing is about Katamari Damacy, a game based on the idea of a Little Prince rolling around a giant sticky ball to reform the stars - which his drunken father, the King of the Universe, destroyed while on a bender. The second game, titled "Everyone Loves Katamari Damacy," was based on the idea that the entire world LOVED this little green man and his quest to completely destroy Earth in a quest to reform the stars. Seriously... would you "love" a guy who came down and stole your house, your sister, and the entire landmass you resided on - and then shot you into space to die a slow and miserable death floating in the cold, lifeless Cosmos? No, right? Damn right. So you'd do what Mike did.
I'd also like to throw out to quick links, which I don't think I've posted before. The first is related tangentially to "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," commonly known as that show with a hamburger, shake and fries. MC Chris has done a few songs for the show, but he's also got an entire album FREE on his website. I recommend "Fett's Vette" and "The 'Tussin." As for the second link, it involves more free MP3s, although these aren't songs as much as they are Geek Spoken Word; specifically it's Ernie Cline's spoken word which is hilarious stuff: "Nerd Porn Auteur," "When I Was a Kid," and "The Geek Wants Out" are my recommendations.
So, that's that. Just a few things left to mention. For one, many of you may not have heard about the comic last week, since technically it was a voting incentive. If you've not seen it, vote and revel in the wonderous alternate ending for the last Italy comic. I also want to announce my forgetfulness and mention that Lynnsie is the source for all things "Dancing Khan" related. And finally, that he next comic will be based on a recommendation by Marcos, who won my "bet when Camilo's going to fall asleep today" Livejournal contest. I'll go ahead and pimp Marcos, too - 'cause damn, Marcos... you read my comics! And voted, too. So, much joy was found when I discovered I had almost 40 votes, and it's only the 20th. Hopefully next month'll be just as strong! It's rather motivating to see me beating one of my favorite comics on the list: Tweep. Anyways, that's that! Enjoy.
