We chose chihuahua dogs because they are extremely rare and unusual types of dogs.
They have a very strange and unique appearance which makes them stand out from more typical breeds of animals.
Chihuahuas are the smallest breed of animal in the world. They are named after a region in Mexico. They were usually associated with Aztec royalty.
They are believed to have been brought to America by Spanish settlers. They are very alert and active and, due to their small size, are easily
adaptable to cramped environments such as apartments.

Aztec: An expansive empire in Central America near present day Mexico and Guatemala. They were known for their very bloody sacrificial rituals.
Teacup: Refers to extremely small types of dogs, sometimes also known as "toy dogs." Breeders often select the smallest dogs they can find; oftentimes
these dogs are runts, which suffer from health problems and shortened lifespans due to extreme dwarfism.
Molera: A soft spot in a Chihuahua's skull. Chihuahuas are the only breed of dog born with an incomplete skull, resulting in this soft spot in the first
six months of life. Great care must be taken to ensure that a young Chihuahua is not injured early in life.
