Duke
University has made significant investments in brain science over
the past 15 years, developing the Bryan
Alzheimer's Research Center, the Department
of Neurobiology, the Center for
Cognitive Neuroscience (CCN) the Brain
Imaging and Analysis Center (BIAC) and the Center
for Neuroengineering (CNeng). These resources are poised to lead Duke
to the forefront of research in brain science in the next decade. However,
to realize this goal, the experimental efforts are being integrated into
an interdisciplinary effort that involves Duke's significant but developing
strengths in analysis and computational modeling and neuroengineering.
The Program in Neural Analysis (PNA) links the faculty and students in
the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, the Brain Imaging and Analysis
Center and the Center for Neuroengineering by providing the resources,
faculty and facility to train pre and post doctoral students in advanced
techniques for neural analysis of brain derived data. For more information
