Alon Brav

Alon Brav is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. His undergraduate studies were conducted at the University of Haifa. Professor Brav's recent working papers include "Myth or Reality: The Long Run Underperformance of Initial Public Offerings, Evidence from Venture and Non-Venture-Backed Companies" (with Paul Gompers), "An Empirical Resurrection of the Simple Consumption CAPM with Power Utility" (with Chris Geczy), "The Long-Run Underperformance of Seasoned Equity Offerings Revisited (with Chris Geczy and Paul Gompers) and "Inference in Long-Horizon Event Studies: A Parametric Bootstrap Approach with Application to Initial Public Offerings".
