I really enjoyed the elevator assignment, and the connection between the work and design of classes seemed very clear. Although we only scratched the surface of an subject that's an entire discipline, I saw the importance of creating a clear function for each class to create a functioning elevator system. By implementing one elevator well, we could create multiple instances of the elevator to simulate the number of elevators that a building might have. I lead the group in the initial structuring of our classes by suggesting the most important class for a single elevator would be one that kept track of where the elevator was located. The group was small and everyone provided valuable input.
